Dr. Inderjit (IJ) Singh, MD, FACP, FASN

President & Lead Nephrologist — Nephrology & Internal Medicine

The president of Gateway Nephrology, Dr. Singh has been active in nephrology for more than twenty years. He holds numerous concurrent directorial roles at nephrology and dialysis centers throughout the St. Louis region and greater Missouri.

Board-certified, he is a member of the National Kidney Foundation, a Fellow of the American Society of Nephrology (FASN), a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP), and a member of the Missouri State Medical Association.

Dr. Singh completed fellowships at the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor), University of Pittsburgh, and Chicago Medical School.

Dr. Anahit Cheema, MD

Nephrologist — Nephrology & Internal Medicine

Dr. Anahit Cheema is Board-certified in Nephrology and Internal Medicine and has practiced medicine for over a decade in the US, England, and India.

His clinical interests include resistant hypertension, acute kidney injury, and glomerulonephritis.

Kandice Hunter serves as the office manager and certified medical assistant at Gateway Nephrology, helping coordinate a welcoming, organized experience for patients and supporting the clinical team across the practice.
